About Us
The Sticker Company has grown and expanded its customer base enormously in the past few years due to careful and continual investment in growth, equipment and infrastructure. Situated in the high growth area of Hervey Bay Queensland and proudly Australian owned and operated, constant updating of procedures and training ensure improvement in efficiency and in turn service provided to our valued customers.
Our work environment provides security and rewarding employment to those who are self-disciplined, loyal and productive. The team environment created operates with integrity and respect for staff members, customers and suppliers alike. Being dedicated to minimising turn-around times and maximising our bottom line will ensure we stay a leader in the label industry in Australia.
History
- 1989 - Company Established
- 1990 - Hot Foiling Technology introduced (Ideal for short run work)
- 1992 - Trade printing service introduced (Due to keen pricing structure)
- 1995 - Introduction of additional Hot Foil Machines
- 1999 - Moved to larger premises in Hervey Bay
- 2000 - Introduction of Flexographic Technology - 5 Colour (Ideal for larger run work and PMS colour matching)
- 2002 - Thermal Technology adopted, Staff increased to 10 Members
- 2004 - Introduction of Wide format Digital Printing
- 2005 - Company takeover by Krico Pty Ltd (New Management Team)
- 2006 - Introduction of Generation 3 Foil Machines, Staff increase to Over 10 Members, Turnover largely increased
- 2007 - Moved to larger premises in Urangan, Introduction of new Flexographic 6 Colour Press and UV Technology, Digital Roll Form introduced plus Resin Doming
- 2008 - Extra addition to the Wide format Digital Printing section along with automated Lamination and the rewind section took on a new finishing machine.
- 2009 - This year saw the retirement of our 5 colour machine and the introduction of a 7 colour servo driven flexographic press. Rewind also had changes where a fully automated core cutting machine was introduced plus an extra finishing machine to cope with the growth and the success seen. The office system took a makeover as well where automation and file compression into one system was adopted and online services available to customers. Our staffing levels are now at 15.
- 2010 - March 2010 has seen growth to The Sticker Co with the acquisition of Edgars Printery - this will allow the company to offer more products to its already extensive list.
